San Pancho Surf Lessons
San Pancho Surf Lessons
The short and punchy beach break in San Pancho, also known as San Pancho Nayarit, can be a great spot for experienced surfers on shortboards when the conditions are right. However, for beginners or those who are new to surfing, the waves at San Pancho may not be suitable and can be dangerous if you don’t have experience. As such, San Pancho may not be the ideal location for surf lessons. Even in good conditions, the strong waves at San Pancho can be challenging, so many surfers look further afield for a more enjoyable session, such as at local beaches like La Lancha.
Fortunately, Wildmex offers a shuttle service straight from Amaryya to the beautiful La Lancha beach, which has fun, mellow waves ideal for beginners. For those with a bit more experience, the long green waves and uncrowded lineups at La Lancha are ideal for working on your technique. And if you are confident and want to try something different or more challenging, Wildmex also offers coached trips to other breaks in the area, including at San Pancho.
If you want to take surf lessons at La Lancha beach in Punta Mita or just take the Wildmex shuttle, all you need to do is book the day before, meet them in San Pancho with your swimming gear, and they will take you all the way to the Wildmex HQ. At the HQ, you’ll have access to over 200 quality boards to choose from, two changing rooms, individual boxes to safely store your belongings, clean bathrooms, an outdoor shower to rinse off after surfing, fresh towels, rashguards, and wetsuit tops for those sensitive to cold water. Wildmex also operates a surf shop in Sayulita, where you can find all the gear you need for a great surfing experience. We look forward to seeing you!
