From August 15 to October 15, all regular MTB tours are paused for the rainy season.
Mountain biking in Sayulita and the Punta Mita area is a great way to experience the local jungle and explore nearby beaches and towns. Our MTB tours range from novice to experienced, with MTB trails that go from mellow dirt roads to Technical Singletrack. Available from November to July every year. During the rainy season, we can organize special tours depending on the weather conditions.
We have two great mountain bike trail system options for our tours: either the Malpaso Singletracks MTB Tour for intermediate or advanced riders or the Punta Sayulita MTB Tour for beginner riders, although both options can be adjusted to suit your needs and level of ability.
MOUNTAIN BIKE TOURS SAYULITA – THE MALPASO TRAILS
The Malpaso mountain bike trails between Sayulita and San Pancho are on private property and either a guided trip or a permit is required to ride them. All our MTB tours are guided by local riders who helped build the bike trails and know them well. 100% of the profits from our MTB tours and rentals go towards cleaning and maintaining these local mountain bike trails. Proudly built by WildMex, the Malpaso Singletrack Trails are among the first purpose-built MTB trails in Sayulita, designed for a wide range of riders—from adventurous beginners to advanced. The network combines loops and side trails, offering everything from mellow singletrack to fast, technical lines with berms, jumps, steep climbs and rock gardens.
Rides can range from a quick 1-hour spin to a 2.5-hour technical and physically demanding session, with a few hundred meters of elevation gain.

This mountain bike experience in Sayulita is not one to miss! The MTB ride departs from Sayulita and takes you to nearby trails, secluded beaches and through the lush jungle ecosystem. Great for groups with different ability levels looking for a flexible ride that can adapt as you go.
The ride can vary from a 1-hour mellow beginner ride to a 2.5-hour intense XC session. Expect singletrack options with steep uphills and technical descents—plus gorgeous hidden beaches and a true jungle vibe.
